Paul Westphal Posted August 20, 2021 Share Posted August 20, 2021 Hi all. I'm repairing a 1040ST. If anyone can tell me what type of board this is I would be most grateful. The History so far: - Previous owner said it would not run. - The grounds for the ram board were not solderered. Fixed. - While I was at it, I recapped the main caps on the motherboard and the power supply. - There were two sticks of ram in the first two slots that I thought - might - have been fried because of the lack of grounding on the ram board, so I purchased two sticks of 1mb to replace it. I'm sure it's a 2mb upgrade but I'd like all the info on the ram board beforehand.
