Pitfall has a timer of 20 minutes and it can be completed in just under that. Perfect score is actually 114k, but Rick is giving this a different spin. Try it!! Yes as Matt was saying this is Pitfall GOLD which has special scoring. Only go after the gold bars. I probably walked off the back of a Gator. I like how in the sequel they did away with lives. I think that losing points for getting hit, on top of a timer, is enough working against the player. Having to start over b/c of lost lives just doesn't feel right here. Also, are we going for the score at game over or at peak? I hope to complete the challenge, but I'll throw both of mine in for now (very close in score anyway). I was cruising along and then on my 5th trip to the volcano I lost every single guy right before the bridge. All of a sudden the 2nd lava screen gets REALLY hard to get thru. ?
