Spector
Anybody reading this bought the foot pedal controler? what do they think of it? Also, how does it work in conjunction with another joystick?
SS
I've got one. I think that it makes games like Stargate and Spy Hunter that require a second joystick actually playable.
Xot
I have it and I enjoy it immensely. Basically, the foot pedal is a pass-through device that maps any three controller functions on to the three pedals. There are switches to designate which pedal performs each function. This allows you, for example, to have one pedal be used for Up (an accellerator, perhaps) and one for down (brake). You can still use the joystick for your left-right movement. And the cord is NICE and LONG.
Big Player
I have one as well. I use it with Thrust + with the driving controller in the right controller port. It's quite different playing games with your feet. My foot coordination has a long way to go. That was one thing that kept me away from the DDR machine at AGE. (The other thing was the large crowds around it. ) Until I read SS's post, I hadn't thought of using it with those games that require a second joystick. Radar Lock will be the first one I try.
