Frogger label variation

Reading another post about label variations prompted this question....I recently acquired a frogger cart which is listed on this site as Taiwan Cooper label. Ne1 know if this is rare? (obviously more so than the standard Parker Bros one, but not sure if it was a daft purchase!)

I suppose you could sell it as Frogger, but that would actually be a bad idea. Frogger is MEGA MEGA common. If you list it as the pirate that it is, it might draw more interest from someone just getting into pirated games and that area of collecting. :)

:spidey:

Yes, I most not look at common games. So better list it as Pirate Frogger Taiwan or something like that. Thats for collectors better and you will get more money. ;)

I think most listed games wrong, and noone looked at them, or you miss some Prototypes or pirate games, because they listed only the gamename. :D

Xot: yep, will do, I live in the UK so it will prob cost that to mail it!

Great collection you've got too  :P

OMG, you mean someone actually CLICKED ON MY LINK?? :o

I think that list is incomplete... I don't think it includes my new, minty-fresh Obelix. :D

I have clicked the link before too. :D I still have nightmares of that car. :P

Seriously, I could just imagine going to yard sales and once the people see what I'm driving, quickly remove the $5 price off the Atari & 50 games, telling me they've heard how "collectible" & "rare" these are now, and offer me a real deal @ $75.

Most of the time it works the opposite way. A lot of people have asked me if I work for Atari. But they tend to accept my word as an "authority" on what the stuff is worth. I've had people stop me and ask if the old Atari they have in the closet is worth anything, and offer to sell it to me. Unfortunately there hasn't been any great finds this way... but a lot of cheap (and sometimes free) commons, usually.

I mean really, if they guy with the Atari car won't even give you $5 for your copy of Pac-Man, it's probably not worth much, right? ;)
