You can use an HxC, as far as I know.

Have you thought of going to the Internet Archive and looking at the TRS-80 catalogs from back in the day? Might be a good place to start. Anyways I like this emulator and wish for its continued development & refinement. Perfect to explore TRS-80 on a cold winter's evening.

There are tons of fun games for the TRS-80. Programmers were really skilled at pulling all they could from that simple hardware.
