Fonzie
Any problem with using 4116-15nl chips with 4116-20nl chips in the same console?
Stuart
What's fitted at the moment? -15nl? The -20nl are a bit slower but you might find they're OK. Shouldn't be a problem mixing different speeds as long as they're fast enough.
Tursi
Yeah, should be okay as long as the 20 is fast enough. That number is how quickly the chip presents stable data. Too slow won't work at all, but too fast is rarely an issue. (I've heard of one case where it was, but I'm not sure that wasn't an urban legend...) Fonzie
Thanks all. I found a mix (5- 15’s & 3- 20 nls) in a screeching banshee console. So, I don’t know if the video ever worked okay. I may install a 20nl chip or two into a working console just to see…No I don’t think so.
