jetset
Does that controller work on a 5200? Or did you just goof around to make us DROOL ?
CPUWIZ
No, it works on a 5200, the only way to play Kaboom.
MrRetroGamer
Nice job! <runs to see if there are any busted WICO's in my big box O'joysticks>
NE146
Well I gotta say that looks pretty friggin sharp
Brad2600
Looks cool, CPU! So you gutted the Wico and install a potentiometer in it? Do the switches on the side and underneath the Wico work or are they pretty much useless in your application? Looks neat. I have a Wico controller myself and they can be a pain in the ass for me to adjust correctly. I often tinker with the switches just to get the correct resistance. CPUWIZ
Yep, the switches on the side and the lock mechanisms underneith are no longer used. I actually just cracked it back open, I am gonna install a proper 5200 joystick cord and a 5200 joystick port into the base of the stick (for keyboard access) to make it less of a pain in the ass. Vic George 2K3
Someone from Wico must be looking at this, either laughing at it or just wondering why they didn't come up with this during their heyday with game controllers.
CPUWIZ
LOL Here is the revised version, plugged into itself for demonstration purposes.
video game addict
That was quick! Good thing you only used the Wico base, those handles, look rather..umm, well, lets not talk about what other fun uses they have.. PS: Someone once told me my wico looks like a butt plug. Oh and very nice work there CPU!! I think that's cooler than the original paddle controllers, or the ones Voltman makes. Looks like it'd be easier to mount in the Wico case than a 5200 controller. Very cool!
JB
Very nice. ... The flash reflecting off the second one makes it look like a gray trackball at first glance.
Rob Mitchell
Good thing it says "TOP" so you can remember which way to hold the paddle! Rob Mitchell, Atlanta, GA
