:? just broke out the old 2600 6 switcher out of storage--- missing power cord--- went to wal-mart bought 2 universals-- no luck--- went to radio shack--- bought what they recommended--- NO LUCK--- does anyone know what else it could be??? i have my a/b switch hooked up correctly... just cannot get any power to the unit..... help me please!--brad byrd

Are you sure you set the universal power supplies up correctly? Here's the specs:

 

Input: 120VAC 60Hz

Output: 9VDC 500mA

Polarity: Center +, Outer -

 

Check that you set that up right first. If so, I would just wiggle the connector with the power on, sometimes old units get sloppy.
