CincYnoTi
my guess is that the handle cartridges came first, since all the color label versions of telesys games are on the handle carts. the black/white labels of stargunner, herby, ram it probably came out later in order to cut costs and show up on the square cartridges. seems to make sense that going from the fance handle carts to the simple/generic square carts would save productions costs also. all the handle carts show "made in hong kong" while the end labels on the square carts show "made in mexico". any thoughts? Godzilla
As one who bought coconuts when it first came out, yes, the handle was originally the only style of cart they had, with the color everything. I never even knew telesys games had anything aside from color and a handle until much later.
