Mindfield
...as I understand it there were two models of 5200: 1) 4-port 5200 with a funky proprietary RF switch that's difficult to find. 2) 2-port 5200 with standard RF. So where does that leave mine? It appears to be in-between: It's a 4-port with a built-in standard RF phono cable that wraps around a cord storage "foot" underneath the unit. Albert
Both models have the RF cable that can be wrapped around underneath the bottom of the unit. However, the four-port version has a thicker cable that supplies power to the 5200 via the oddball RF switchbox, into which the power supply is connected. Did you not receive one of these proprietary switchboxes with your 5200? Have you had the opportunity to hook it up yet? ..Al

I had someone who wanted to do some trading with me who would include one of his 5200 power supplies in the trade, so I figured this was all good) Apparently, however, this isn't going to be that easy 'cos there's nowhere for me to plug the power supply into at the moment. Bugger...

Shannon
The power is supplied thru the RF cable. You essentially have two parts. The power supply itself which plugs into the tv switchbox. The tv switchbox that the RF cable plugs into. If you are missing any of these you will not be able to play the 5200 without getting one of these or maybe doing a power supply mod (if you have a power supply).
