Archimedes5000
Hello, beginner question .... ? are there cartridges for the TI99 that only work with ROM without GROM? Some days ago I found the 64K Cartridge Board Rev 03c. Thanks to JLCPCB I now have 10 of these boards at home. And a little Arduino Based EPROM Programmer for 32K EPROMS. With which programs for the TI99 can I play something here? Greetings Axel
+jedimatt42
Anything for the "FlashROM99" should work. Pad your eprom with repeats of the desired ROM as the power on bank is nondeterministic. If you also do not have a 32k RAM, make sure the ROM doesn't require it. Usually noted in that thread.
+Ksarul
Also, if you are building the boards yourself, here is Tursi's test program. Since you are using the 64K boards with a 74LS379, you want to use the 32_3 file (the board will work with files up to 64K, so you could also use the 64_3 file). The _3 is an older reference--current nomenclature would use an _9 to designate a file for the 74LS379. I also sell bare boards of the 128K version of this board (also using the 379) or a 512K version using the 74LS378 (using files ending in _8, -8, or just 8 ). banktest3.zip
