CincYnoTi
i thought at one time, there was an entry for the red label yars revenge in the AA database that was NTSC. now it only shows on AA as PAL. i have two of the red yars in NTSC format. i was just wondering how many others have this version. Tempest
Fairly rare I would guess. I didn't know there was an NTSC red labeled Yars. Wanna trade it? Tempest
oesii
I think there used to be an entry for a red Yar's too because I've run across a couple of them in the last year at flea markets. Never thought they were too rare.
sku_u
I have a Red Yars Revenge. I always assumed it was NTSC. I'll ckeck it sometime later this week when I get a spare moment.

Godzilla
well in all my years of hunting I have one red ntsc yars, found at a flea. The dollar stores and big lots here during the last retail 2600 $1 game blow out never had any red yars, I can tell you that.

Big Player
Back in 1993, after I rampaged my Big Lots, all they had left was 50 Asteroids carts. What I was able to pick up for a buck a piece. Double Dunk Dig Dug Millipede Secret Quest Jr. Pac Man Crossbow Battlezone Joust Crystal Castles Gravitar There are some more, but I can't think of them now. Those were the days. Godzilla
my local big lots had stacks of sentinels and xenophobe. if only I had known.... at least I bought a copy for myself.
Big Player
I stupidly passed up on Solaris and Sprint Master, thinking they would be there when I came back. Since I hadn't heard of them, they couldn't have been any good. That's when I went back to find only the 50 Asteroid carts.
King Atari
my local big lots had stacks of sentinels and xenophobe. if only I had known.... at least I bought a copy for myself. *Stunned* I go looking for red label 2600 carts at those $1 places, you never know . So far, I've only found a stack of brand new Sonic 2's for the Game Gear.

MegaManFan
Anybody got a spare red label NTSC Yars they don't need? Would it be considered cheating to buy a PAL one and swap the board inside it with a more common NTSC Yars picture label cart? Probably. But I'm tempted. Would it be considered cheating to buy a PAL one and swap the board inside it with a more common NTSC Yars picture label cart? Probably. But I'm tempted. I have one coming in the mail. If it turns out to be the NTSC and not PAL the version, I'll shoot you a PM. Here's a list of other PAL only Red Label carts. Have any of these ever been found in NTSC format? 1. Asteroids 2. Basketball 3. Battlezone 4. Crystal castles 5. Fatal Run 6. Joust 7. Jungle Hunt 8. KLAX 9. Mario Bros. 10. Millipede 11. Pole Position 12. Realsports Soccer 13. Realsports Tennis 14. Realsports Volleyball * I left Asterix and Yars' Revenge off the list because I know NTSC versions exist.
hepcat
I have one these too! The label is in pretty good shape. I've had a few dozen copies of Yars' Revenge in 4 years of collecting and it's the only red one I've ever seen. --Jason
Spirantho
That list is missing Missile Command, Dodge`Em and Ms. Pacman, BTW. It seems there's a constantly growing list of the things! Maybe Atari are still making them in secret?
