Forgot to mention it's for my 1200XL 😐

OK Ricky,

I just printed the v3 cart and it fits the 1200XL :)

Now I need to get the PCB's so I can make sure the PCB goes all the way into the cartridge slot

Here you can see your cartridge :)

Thanks!

The new cart v3 fits tightly in 1200xl and 800. But I need the PCB to test, In the 800 the lid doesn't close all the way because the cartridge is  few mm's too high

Can you take some photos? Perhaps I need to make a chamfer on the case, reduce the height or something like that. There is no lid on the XE series, I can't check.

Now dimensions is 90.75x64.0x20.0 without logo and notches for pulling out.
With notches and logo - 90.75x66.0x21.0.
1mm notches from each side (+2 mm wide) and 1 mm (height) logo.

SikorSoft housings: 85.0x65.0x???.

What are the maximum dimensions allowed for ATARI 800 ?
Will 88mm be enough or do we need 85mm?

And yet, what is the height from the bottom of the cartridge to the board ?
I made the cartridge so that its bottom was at same level as the table when used with the ATARI 65XE/130XE.

Here is your cartridge next to an Atari 400/800 cartridge

3-5mm in length (from top to bottom of cart.

If you send me some STL.s to try I can make some test prints and try in in all the different model Ataris

I think I can remove about three millimeters from the side of the connector. The pocket is too deep in my opinion.
Maybe a little from the other side.

The sides is not the issue the sides I think is fine. Its the height of the cartridge, if you can take 3-4mm off the length then it will be good

Correct, Can you share the PCBWay link? When I click the link a few messages above it takes me to the old board. Whats the size of the new board?

Link to PCBWay Project

Try clearing your browser cache.

You need Gerbers from "XEGS Cartridge_2022-11-10.zip".

Yes, strange problem on PCBWay. I have updated the Gerber files of the project, but the old PCB sizes are showing, although the files are showing the new ones.
