Albert Posted January 4, 2002 Share Posted January 4, 2002 According to the Giant List of Classic Game Programmers, Ed Fries was working for Microsoft in 1997 as General Manage of Games. Here's an article with more information about that. He's still apparently working at Microsoft, as here's an interview where he discusses the XBox launch.
