Games for the lightgun

Hi all,

I recently got a lightgun and I am now frantically searching for lightgun games. I've managed to get Bughunt and Sharpshooter.

Can anyone point me where I can get ATR files for Barnyard Blaster and Crossbow? I got the games in BIN and EXE extensions but these files doesn't seem to work with APE using SIO2PC. Am I right?

Any other recommended Lightgun games?

for .exe, .com, .xex programs you mount the to APE in "mirror" mode then turn on the atari holding down option and a menu program on the atari should come up and just select the file from the menu. and it will load like off a dos disk.

It's in the instructions, which can be downloaded from the APE site, if I've gotten anything wrong, it's been a while since I've loaded anything in mirror mode onto my XL/XE's...

Hi kheffington,

Thanks for the ATR files that you've sent. I was able to play them all except Barnyard Blaster which hangs (using APE 1.18). When I run it on the XEGS, it tells me it needs 64K of extended memory. On the 130XE and AtariWin800, it just wouldn't start after the Homesoft screen. Any ideas?

To all, thanks for the leads and the links.

TIA.

Don
