The extreme heat and cold basically dry rotted the rubber and plastic. Actually threw them out about 15 years ago when I saw the damage done. Thanks for the link to the article. Found it very interesting. Didn’t realize they had that many issues with the contest. Had totally forgotten about the game until last month.
