VBXE Installed in XE. Occasional video glitches

So this is an interesting one.

Anybody shed any light on this visual glitch that is occasionally appearing in this screenshot (see below) ?

This is a VBXE demo. Insane At Nordlicht 2018

I can boot up my XE (U1MB/VBXE) and load/run this demo several times without any glitches, even if the machine has been running for a while. I can also run it after the XE has been off for a while. (So it doesn't appear to be anything to do with heat for example).

I am starting to suspect this is the fault of the unit itself rather than the XE Atari it's installed in.

Reason I've come to this conclusion is simply that I've converted three of my XE boards to accommodate this XE specific VBXE, (and U1MB), so used different sockets and chips and newly made dupont cables, din13 Jack's every time. I've also tried with a second U1MB board as well. The same occasional visual glitch occurs in all three installs. Common thing I the same VBXE unit is transplanted into all three each time.

Incidentally this occurs no matter if using Atari brick mains power or USB power cables. I've tried several different power supplies.

Also the wiring for the din13 jack used with the din13 to scart cable, (a cool novelties made rgb cable), is fine with no shorts. The cable itself is fine also.

As this is something that is occasionally occurring over three completely separate XE installs it has to be the VBXE itself right?

FYI the screen above should look like this and very often is fine when running the demo:
