gilsaluki
All this recent talk of Cassette Recorders and S & C program made me load my original program cassette today. I never thought about it until today (played it hundreds of times), but the opening audio soundtrack has a disco tune playing in the background while the data loads. It sounds like a typical disco tune you'd hear in a 70s-era TV show like ChiPS or Dallas. Funny stuff. It appropriately captures the timeframe this program was created. Mirror balls, lite dance floors and John Travolta. I think Atari used that same track for other tape programs (those with separate audio and data tracks), or one similar to it. +Stephen
There's been threads in the past, trying to figure out the name of the tune, who wrote it, etc. I think it's still a mystery. Also, it's a great tune. I'll never forget it - I can't tell you how many times I heard it playing States & Capitals.

This kind of stuff keeps me an Atarian.
