+videofx
Just picked up an Atari XEGS and as soon as I power on the XEGS it goes directly into self test and below are the 2 screens I get. First screen: after 1 or 2 seconds this screen: Anyone know what needs to be done for me to fix this? Thanks!
reifsnyderb
My first thought is bad memory or memory related circuitry. The fact that it's going into self-test tells me that most of it is working.

BIGHMW
I hope that my newly-reacquired XEGS doesn't have that shit goin' on, we'll find out once I order The Brewing Academy power supply on eBay (I just don't trust the jerry-rigged "new" adapter that came with mine) so I don't have to deal with a 40-year-old brick malfunctioning on me, but yes indeed I AM BACK IN THE XEGS FOLD!!!
