Redcurrie
I finally got a Trak-ball for my 5200 but it seems to only work some of the time. Do these things need to be cleaned (like a computer mouse) and is it something easy to do? I'm not scared to take stuff apart but I don't want to screw it up.... Also, is there a list of compatible games? Thanks!

My trakball was not working properly a while back because the ball was lopsided and two of the spinners (sorry, don't know the technical term) were off their runners. I replaced the ball with a qball and put the spinner things back into place. The trakball has worked perfectly ever since. I'm not saying that this is the problem with yours, just what I did to fix mine.
+Cafeman
http://cafeman.www9.50megs.com/atari/5200t...0trak-ball.html Yeah, I had to clean and replace a bearing in mine. It was a new experience to me, so I posted the pictures at the above link.
