AVR2
Hi all, I'm sure this is a really basic question, but I've Googled around and I can't find any explanation of how to get .COM files to run. I've tried simply loading them into D1 and booting from them, and they all *seem* to be start loading OK, but then they either just display garbage and hang, or I get the classic looping "BOOT ERROR" message, or the emulator jumps to the monitor and I have to restart it. ATX, ATR and ROM files work just fine, it's the .COMs I can't figure out how to use. Any advice gratefully received...
Mathy
Hello AVR2 Either right click before loading Atari800MacX followed by "Open with..." or rename the file from *.COM to *.XEX. Sincerely Mathy

Neither method works for me, unfortunately - they're just the same as loading the .COM into D1 and cold-starting. The file always seems to be booting correctly, but then will just hang or jump to the monitor at the end of the loading process.
+cjherr
Try command (control?) -r from within Atari800MacX and load the file that way. Works for me.
