spongebue
I am probably gonna go to a used game store and get an NES Advantage to mod for an atari, but It would still work on an NES As I do that, I will likely create a how-to for anybody interested. Any ideas for what I could try to do?
spongebue
Gah! I probably should have waited until I got one or even after I got the how-to since they didn't have that joystick (they usually do)
SteveW
I bought an arcade style stick years ago that has plugs on the end of the cable for Playstation, Saturn (I think), SNES, and Genesis. I used the Genesis plug with my Atari 7800, and I got a little interference onscreen. I've read since then that using Genesis controllers could damage the 7800's control chip. I'd like to dig it out of storage one day and tweek it to work with the 2600/7800. I haven't been all that motivated to do it before, because it's not the greatest joystick i've ever used. But considering that I bought it for $5 new, I think it was a decent buy. Might as well get some use out of it.
