810 Happy Enhancement Rev 7 ROM upgrade document found and scanned

Hi everybody,

 

I picked up an 810 with a Happy Enhancement a few weeks ago, along with a stack of manuals and instructions.  The stack contained a sheet of paper that describes "REV 7 ROM FOR 810 HAPPY".  If you have a Happy-modded 810 with an older ROM, the instructions tell you how to install a version 7 ROM into the board; it also describes the ROM types that were used on your Enhancement or Upgrade board, depending on serial number.

 

From what I understand, the ROM is customized with your board's serial number, that's why you had to give Happy Computing (or now B&C) your serial number when requesting an upgrade.

I've already posted this scan in a different thread (below), but I'm posting it here as well so people who have 810s with Happy Enhancements or Boards can find this document easier....

 

Eventually when I've gone through all of the docs I received and scanned in stuff that doesn't have scans out there already, I'll post everything on `archive.org`.

I just found this same sheet in a pile of docs.  I'll see if its identical or if it scans better.
