deffroe
Just taken delivery of a Cruiser turbo joystick bought on Ebay. The adapter pictured was also included. Anyone familiar wtih which system it would be for? Phil
jhd
The Coco used DIN connectors for its joysticks, but there are too many pins for that. (Atari to Coco joystick adapters also require some additional passive components, not just a cable.) It's also not a TurboGrafx 16 connector (there is correct number of pins, but not the correct arrangement).
+slx
I think it's an adapter for Commodore C16/116 and Plus/4.

Had a look here, http://www.retroconnection.de half way down the page under, Unusual Ports and hard-wired game controllers. Thanks Six. +slx
It was a rather strange move by Commodore to introduce a new joystick port when there was a huge market for sticks of all kinds with the Atari plug. Did they really expect people to buy their (probably rather cheaply built) sticks rather than a Comp Pro and and adapter?
