Duewester
Got a PEB on Ebay. Has two half height drives and an original Ti disk controller. As I understand it, I need Single Density floppies. Any advice or info is appreciated.
+Vorticon
Any double sided double density floppies will work. I have a similar setup. 1
Geoff Oltmans
Yep... the oxide used on DD disks is the same as single density... the main difference is FM vs MFM modulation yielding higher density recording rather than the physical media itself. 2
+OLD CS1
You will come across both 1D/SD and 2D/DD disks, but they are generally interchangeable. 2D/DD media will work with 1D/SD drives. Commodore 64 and Apples use GCR encoding which effectively format DD, different from MFM, but can use SD disks.
