Cybergoth
Hi there! others were based on Perry Rhodan, but i don't know if that was a cartoon or not. There are comics, but originally it's a weekly novel series. (If you count these, you'd have to include the Star Wars games and others as well) Greetings, Manuel

NovaXpress
Lock N Chase, the character you are playing is the Japanese anime character Lupin. This was changed for the Mattel carts, the copyright reasoning behind it is detailed on the Blue Sky Rangers site.

sku_u
Asterix Garfield What about movie and TV themes? Alligator People Planet of the Apes The Entity MASH E.T The Extra Testicle Dune The four Star Wars Games To name a few
xredmenacex
I would really consider the Flash Gordon cart to be a movie tie-in game and not a cartoon tie-in based on the artwork from the 1980 movie being used etc. But obviously there have been Flash Gordon cartoons and comics. (Alex Raymond rules!)
moycon
AsterixGarfield What about movie and TV themes? Alligator People Planet of the Apes The Entity MASH E.T The Extra Testicle To name a few ET The Extra Testicle was based off the play...Not the movie. rockman_x_2002
What about the Swordquest games? Though not based on a comic or cartoon, the comic was made for the game. So technically they were in comic book format also. Just not a traditional one.
