So, the Season will end at the beginning of June and the Tournament will be June/July Once again, I look for suggestions from our players for games you would like to play for Season 15. These are only suggestions. Most of Season 15 has already been decided and I would love to hear what games you would like to see played. Send suggestions for: Arcade Games Rarely Played Games Paddle Games Your Favorite Games A Company that you would like to see in the Spotlight Other Games Also, you may contact HOMEBREW creators and ask them to send me a PM with their BIN/ROM Files. Would love to see some new HOMEBREWS. I choose games that have NOT been played for at least 3 Seasons. Since all the ROMs have been taken off of the list of games by AtariAge... We will only be playing games that I have a file for. ALL NEW PLAYERS ARE WELCOME. I think I was swayed by the great artwork and the fact that they ported games which I love on other systems to the Atari 2600 (Miner 2049er and Threshold). However, those ports are vastly inferior to other versions. Tigervision has some good originals like Polaris, but mostly they are clones of other games. Sometimes they can be fun because they typically add a twist or 2 to the original but they're still clones and not always good ones. CBS, on the other hand, doesn't have a lot of games but they're basically all good. There hasn't been a CBS game in the HSC since Season 12 when there was 1 (Wizard of Wor). For companies to spotlight, my vote goes to Parker Brothers. The only other game I'd suggest is Pitfall since it's a popular game that has not been played recently. When selected (whether it be this season or some other season in the future), I recommend the following scoring modifications for players who earn a perfect score of 114,000: 1) Add 1 point to your score for every second left on the clock. 2) Add 100 points to your score for every life remaining (so +200 if you make it through without losing a life, +100 if you die once, and no bonus if you die twice). If I could pick one game this would be my choice Pac Man Jr - good follow up to Ms Pac Man this season Phoenix - Another that had no business being that good on the 2600 Pole Position - MOre fun than versions on much more powerful systems Stargate - The comparison with Defender would be fun Kung Fu Master - I genuinely don't know how they did this on the 2600 Dig Dug - another GCC masterpiece Rare Montezuma's revenge Frankenstein's Monster Frogger 2 Paddle Always my least favourite wek (mainly because I don't have any padlles ), but if I had to pick one, I love Circus Atari Favourites River Raid Enduro Pitfall 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
