bjk7382
I just got a very mint condition Swordquest Waterworld from ebay. I think I might have paid a little too much though. I paid 80 for it and there are no marks on either label, but no instructions. I have seen the instructions by itself go for 63.00 on ebay!! I was just wondering if this was a really bad price or not. I was also wondering if they all have the odd springs in them that I haven't seen in any other cartriges.
maximebeauvais
Contrat I got my waterworld in a trade for a value of around 80$ around 2 years ago.....so yes it is a good price
Christophero Sly
Another orange label, hmm... Anyway, congratulations!
bjk7382
Does that mean it is sun bleached (it doesn't look like it) or are there two color variations.
Christophero Sly
Does that mean it is sun bleached (it doesn't look like it) or are there two color variations. I think it is readily apparent that there are two Waterworld color variants, a red, and a vivid orange like yours. Others may disagree. Thomas Jentzsch
Others may disagree. Yup, there was a long thread about this.
King Atari
My WW is orange. Yes, mine has springs like those as well, as do a few of my others carts. I know, because I was looking up the slot to make sure it wasn't a repro/counterfeit (I worry too much).
GruBBworM
so now after I sold both my orange and red label waterworlds yall finally admit there are two color variations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

Cassidy Nolen
You did very well, congrats. Looks nice. I sold my extra one last year for 100, and that was not asking too much for a clean one (IMHO). I ended up getting lucky on ebay sometime back and got a boxed one for 150. Almost had a sealed one in Vegas........ (to all involved!!!). Mine has that wierd spring thing too. Cant think of any other game than Moon Patrol I have that has that. It is sort of strange Cassidy

bjk7382
So where did those clear carts come from? I was thinking about having a plastics company mass produce cartriges and then sell them to atariage for .50 cents a piece. But that is very uneconomical anyway. So were these clear ones custom made or what? BTW my moon patrol doesnt have a dust guard it is one of the open ended carts like solaris
chadtower
Seriously, I'd love to get some of those clear shells.
Chris++
So is it as crappy and unplayable as the first two Swordquest games?
joeybastard
I always though Swordquest was Latin for crappy and unplayable
bjk7382
Yeah, I already read most of the comic book off of AA but the page numbers on the Waterworld comic are off. Page 7 is page 5 in the comic and then page 8 on the website is 8 in the book too? I don't know if there are pages missing or what. But I plan on trying to beat it. I have already beat Raders of the lost arc this can't be much harder.
keyngs
Those Clear carts are awesome. Would love to get my hands on a couple. The Swordquest series is challenging. I beat earthworld, couldnt beat fireworld though. Does anyone have a waterworld for sale? or boxed earth or fireworld?. Also maybe someone can produce a Airworld cart. Im suprised nobody has done it yet.
Room 34
Those clear carts are great. As for the spring carts... I have several of those. (They aren't Waterworld, of course... various titles.)
