Road Runner - A great game, but once you get past level 3 it's impossible 3. Spikes Peak - I couldn't even beat the first level 4. Double Dragon - Ugh! 5. Jr. Pac-Man - Fun but hard! You must only learn what you must do at which time. Maybe the Atari 2600 version is different. Pitfall 2. There I have bear too the C64 version first. Double Dragon is much easier to play if you have learned the joystick-control (try and try...) Farthest I've made it without cheating is half way through the last level. Although I have completed the last level by itself a few times. Godzilla Posted October 16, 2003 Share Posted October 16, 2003 i found thrust literally impossible and unplayable, until i learned your ship has to actually be some distance above things for the tractor to work, and although the instructions tell you to be right on them, they are wrong :-) after that, it's still challenging. Another one is definitely kaboom, I can only get over 2 or 3 thousand if I try for like a half hour. what about et, I havent ever beat that one either. Godzilla Posted October 16, 2003 Share Posted October 16, 2003 man i remember back in the day playing survival island and FINALLY figuring out how to get in the temple (that took a while,) and then duying in the temple because I didn't play the very first scene well enough, and then starting ALL over again... *Sigh* never did beat it, survival in the temple was a direct factor of how well you did in the previous two areas.
