I don't know the answer to this, but I did make this observation in the pics in this thread: The games that were actually made by Atari say "Atari 2600" at the top whereas the Activision ones (and ZiMAG) say "Atari Cartoucho Original"... so there does seem to be a distinction being made by Polyvox.
