I was wondering if it is easy to hack a wired Xbox One controller?

I want to make my own flipper controls using a hacked Atari Pinball dedicated unit.

What do you mean by hack ? Use the electronics of a wired Xbox One controller to interface an Atari Pinball controller ? Not sure to understand

I want to hack or wire the shoulder buttons that are used to control the flippers on the Xbox One and wire them to a the Atari Pinball unit. It has flipper buttons on the sides. Right now I have it hacked into a PS1 cable.

The easiest way is to use a MCU with a USB "host" feature, that way you can read anything you want from the controller and just use GPIO's to control the Atari Pinball unit.

I agree with you, if the person has the knowledge. If not, for sure, there's a lot of tutorial. I can help, and from what I'm seeing, you can too 😎🤠

Are you in electronics also?
