Atari Games -Official 2023 Recap

Great year for Atari!
 

I know that not all Atari games are exactly what everyone wants (par for the course for gamers LOL) BUT the fact that Atari is once again a true game maker, and can even make a video recap such as this (including teasers for what’s to come!!) makes this an incredibly exciting time for Atari fans, IMHO.

I'm very interested to see how Food Fight preforms, given it seems to be a multi-plat take on splatoon.

And we know historically that doing multi-platform versions of Nintendo games tends to be EXTREMELY commercially successful, quality or otherwise (Nicktoons smash clones, Giana Sisters, Oceanhorn, etc.). Not saying it will be bad, just saying it doesn't matter if it is it'll still sell well. Lol

At least I assume it and Neo Sprint will be multiplat, since that seems to be what happens every time a VCS game leaves early access. Which is the smart approach if they want to actually make money.

 

Bit odd to see them almost actively distance themselves from Night Dive and Digital Eclipse though. Like, you would think they'd put in some footage of Turok 3, System Shock, Dark Forces Remastered, Karateka, or the Jeff Minter Collection as far as recap/previews go. Maybe waiting for the PR around the main brand to improve? idk.

Strong line up though, and glad to see a lean towards more proper AAA games.

Then why not list it in their recap?

That just makes their exclusion more bizarre.
