Mindfield
Okay, so I paid a fair bit for it, but hey: http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...egory=3537&rd=1 It's got the coax output, too. Sure, it's a Sears, and I've always regarded that damn silver backplate as ugly (it just sticks out like a sore thumb, unlike the nice black Atari plate) but it's a heavy sixer all the same, it's CIB in great condition, and it's mine! And it's from someone I deal with often, so I know it's all good. :-) Yes, Big Sexy is coming home.
x6d696168
Are the sears telegames consoles harder to find?
bjk7382
I think they are about the same if not more common. I have a Atari heavy sixer that was made in taiwan. Don't ask me how but I know what a heavy sixer looks like and this is one that has on the serial number sticker "Made in Taiwan" ?? I thought they were all made in the great US of A. It isn't in the box though either. Anybody know about this system I described?

Mindfield
lol! Oh, I'll be posting my findings here when she arrives. I'll hook her up, turn her on, and play with her for hours. :-)
BassGuitari
I also own a Sears Telegames "big sexy". I think the Sears systems are very cool-looking...I always keep it connected to my little b/w television when I take down my Atari "little sexy" from my "good" television set to connect my Atari 5200 or Odyssey 2 or Intellivision or Channel F. JB
I like the look of the Tele-Games unit. ... What's really neat is I have a Tele-Games organizer unit too. Which means matched wood-grain, and not much more. But that's not the point.
Mindfield
I dunno, maybe it's just because I'm so used to the VCS looking like Atari's units that Sears' silver backplate just looks ... odd to me; out of joint with the nice black and woodgrain of the rest of the unit. I'm so used to just black and woodgrain that the silver of the Sears unit somehow strikes me as phony, like a cheap clone. Obviously it's not, since it's still manufactured by Atari, but even so. All the same I'm elated to finally get me some Big Sexy, and the complete box, manual and accessories just ices that cake. Sadly I have to wait 'til next payday 'fore I can actually pay for it, but the seller's cool with that, and his shipments usually arrive in 1-2 days. Then ... then she will come to life in my arms. :-)
