I’m using that and rev2 of the experimental firmware and I can’t even get it to load at all (halves the dump, so I never get the full 32k). But I am sure you are right, so the vid can be taken as a proof of problem😊

DEANJIMMY
8 hours ago, MrChickenz said: How is it dumping different if we are both on the same dumper.9 Right, it is related to our personal copy of cart, I guess. The chances to fail just seem to be higher on 1.1.0.9. My Medieval dumps fine on any dumper, currently 1.1.0.9 with 32k, only the music sounds bad (on any SW and dumper FW). My Juno First dumped fine only once on the factory load and never worked again. I put 1.1x-r2 debug on and used different dumpers. It dumps only half of it. You can keep your debug 1.1x-r2 load to see the size of the dump and then test Medieval and Juno First with dumper 1.0.0.0 and 1.1.0.9 to compare. Maybe my Medival is less finicky than yours but my Juno First is a prima donna🤔 Edited February 28 by DEANJIMMY

I know Medieval Mayhem worked because I was playing multiplayer when I first received the unit! That being said that was the first Atari 2600+. When I received my second unit it worked I tested but not sure when it stopped working. I updated that one to the latest firmware and dumper and didn’t test that again until the experimental firmware. I know Juno first worked at some point but I don’t play it on the 2600+ because it doesn’t support AudioVox Edited February 28 by MrChickenz

Pac-Man Senior
@KainXavier I recently added the check of my non paddle games (espescially PAL games) for the experimental firmware. Frogger keeps being mixed. The surprise was Video Pinball which is no longer working (same cart was working with 1.0). Bowling has some stutter during the game. The rest was ok. MrChickenz
@DEANJIMMY Ok so with 1.1x-r2 experimental standard and 01.01.00.02 dumper. Medieval Mayhem WORKS! Circus Convoy WORKS! Juno First WORKS! Fall Down WORKS! Aardvark WORKS! Robot City WORKS! Frenzy WORKS! California Games still WORKS! Tunnel Runner still WORKS! Tac Scan still WORKS! Srategey X NO LONGER LOADS Goes right to Load Failed Time Pilot NO LONGER LOADS Goes to black screen Robot Tank NO LONGER LOADS Goes to stripe screen I’m not uploading screenshots because I’m on standard experimental firmware. I will install the debug version and upload some screenshots So I gained 3 and lost 3 I’m Even Stevens! As your Medieval runs now, how does the title music sounds like? In my case it sounds distorted. Fades in and out like a compressor pushing down the volume. MrChickenz
1.1x-r2 experimental debug and 01.01.00.02 dumper. Strategy X loaded 2 times with the debug version but it managed to show FPS 136.02 one time. First picture Strategy X. Robot Tank loaded Stripes. Time Pilot loaded black screen. Hopefully @raz0red gets some useful info out of this! Edited February 28 by MrChickenz
MrChickenz
UPDATE STRATEGY X. Possibly a cartridge issue! After inserting the cartridge I pull it out a tad and I mean a tad! And it works every time! This has nothing to do with the 2600+. Even on original hardware there has been a cartridge or two that I had to do this with to get it to load, I’ve inserted Strategy X at least 20 x this way now and it loads every time Edited February 28 by MrChickenz
