joeybastard
Godzilla has some opinions about the Sunnyvale version of the VCS. You'll see. It doesn't actually have anything to do with you.

Godzilla
here you can study some history: http://www.atariage.com/forums/viewtopic.p...&highlight=sexy also just put in 'big sexy' in the forum search, and only search the 2600 forum. joeybastard
In case you don't want to do all of the reading - Godzilla has started a one man crusade to change the nickname Heavy Sixer to Big Sexy. I believe it's been an uphill battle for him. I actually think Heavy Sixer sounds sort of pornographic, as does woody.
ZylonBane
WHAT ????? yall got me very confused??? let me in on this secret?? Godzilla has sort of a... ahem... "fetish" for Atari 2600s. Kind of like the classic-gamer version of a Furry. He's also what some people call a "chubby chaser". Combine all that and you get someone who calls the heavy sixer, "Big Sexy". If he ever offers to sell you any "used" Atari equipment... run.
GruBBworM
rotf lol reason well the only reason I was asking is im selling all my atari stuff and was wanting to know how to represent it (195) carts 2- 4 switch systems 1 six switch sytem and over 200 manuals 4 atari binders to put carts in and controllers and trac-ball so i simply just needed to know how to tell the "hot babes apart"

Godzilla
the 5200 is far too angular, un-curvy, and BIG to be sexy. There is a point at which big is no longer sexy, and you need to run away. Just listen to the dice-man for advice on when big is too big, and no longer sexy. zylon had no problem with the used atari hardware I sent him with complimentary special sauce.... Somewhere on these boards I once mentioned I thought the 5200 was more appropriately called Big Sexy too. I think I even did a stupid Photoshop trick about it too. I'm guessing, then, that the term "Heavy woody big sexy sixer" would be cause for averted eyes and scandalized gasps.
