Retrospect
This is addictive. Another "goto" game for the TI. I like how sneaky the enemy are at destroying the city buildings and the graphics and sounds are top notch too.

Cheung
any rpk version... I don't even know what that is. If you can provide some instruction on the build/conversion process, I may be able to provide one. Edited March 8 by Cheung

+mizapf
Here is the RPK; this is the layout.xml inside: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <romset version="1.0" listname="exptest"> <resources> <rom id="romimage1" file="ATLANTIS.bin"/> </resources> <configuration> <pcb type="paged378"> <socket id="rom_socket" uses="romimage1"/> </pcb> </configuration> </romset> atlantis.rpk 5

And I appreciate giving the layout (teaching a man to fish) - which is just what I would have typed (though I would have changed the listname which doesn't seem all that valuable but I'm actually using it to guess at key mapping to DS controls for certain games: frogger, qbert, ToD, etc).
+mizapf
You can drop the listname attribute; I actually forgot to update it. The only important decision is the pcb type. Edit: The listname attribute was originally planned by me to link RPKs to the corresponding ZIP entries in the software list. The software list is configured by the file hash/ti99_cart.xml. However, since the RPK loader was kept in MAME and since the ZIP loader was never extended to load RPKs, this attribute became obsolete.
Serafini Lapo
sounds cool! I'm really having a lot of fun. Thank you again for this fantastic conversion👍🏻 P.s. My cat Chloe also likes it😁 Edited March 12 by Serafini Lapo 6
+OLD CS1
Well done! It looks like this is compiled XB. If so, it would be worth noting that it requires 32k. Gonna have to set up a Cheung directory on my VCF FG99.

Penso che sia il tipo di gioco che piacerebbe ai gatti. 🤣 Accommodation, of course, is quick! I'm tidying up my retrocomputer corner a bit and I had everything on one side... But the desire to try your game was such that I "assembled" everything on the fly! This also explains my cat's intense curiosity.

ti99iuc
@HOME AUTOMATION It depends on whether you this could mean AI Of course, the main image is the usual image used for the original Imagic's distributions. I have enhanced it using PS to have a better resolution. then the idea to use the Imagic style and the TI styles mixed. Now I am working on the Ghostbusters Label and Manual I will see if I could use the AI for that. Edited April 1 by ti99iuc 6

I think mixing the IMAGIC and TI styles was the way to go.
woj
I am not in this part of the AA forum often, and never posted here, but I just have to say this - the game reminds me so much of something I have written for the TI/4A once, in the Extended Basic using sprites, sort of the same thing, but just one ship passing on top and practically no graphics (but some still). Nothing profound I guess, if not for the fact that it was my first ever "game" written for a computer, and that I was 12 at the time 😀 and to me it was all I thought the TI can do. Sadly, none of this survived, the computer was borrowed and went back to the owner a couple of years later, together with the tape on which I had my programs... 1

Cheung
@ti99iuc and I finished up the manual for Atlantis. It can be accessed on GitHub here: https://github.com/CheungChang7/TI99_HOMEBREW/tree/main/ATLANTIS/DOCS Along with the files for the cartridge label. The files can also be downloaded below for convenience. I want to thank ti99iuc for creating the manual cover and cartridge label as well as helping me to get the manual good enough for publication ATLMAN.pdf Atlantis Cart Label with cut lines.pdf Edited April 25 by Cheung 7
