Neo Geo Arcade Stick Pro works surprisingly well as a 400 Mini arcade stick controller.

 

You have to use the joystick mode of course.

I am using the "8Bitdo NEOGEO Wireless Controller for Windows, Android, and NEOGEO mini with Classic Click-Style Joystick - Officially Licensed by SNK (Black Edition)" and doing well with it. The click D-Pad is very nice. I placed the following onto the root of my USB stick. The file needs to be named "gamecontrollerdb.txt" as posted by others. I haven't tested the 8BitDo M30 yet.
