A local game store took in a used 2600+

One of my local games stores texted me yesterday because they bought a 2600+. They also had the CX30+ bundle and Mr. Run and Jump. No boxes or even cartridge sleeves. They priced Mr. Run and Jump at $13 and everything else together at $100.

 

I was planning on buying Mr. Run and Jump eventually, so I think I will pass on it. I did tell my in-laws about everything, they might be interested in it.

 

I was surprised to see a 2600+ came in used, though. I am not sure if the seller did not like it, or needed money. I will probably swing by later today and take a look at it.

I guess some people out there just don't have good taste in video games!  🤭

May have gotten it as Christmas and just not be into classics. Think that's a decent price for run and jump unless yoh just need it complete.

I went by and had them hook it up. The paddles felt tight, but I did not test them. I just tested the CX40+ with Mr. Run and Jump.

 

I thought the joystick felt fine, and I really enjoyed Mr. Run and Jump. I played for quite a while and all three of the employees seemed to like it too.
