AA_ron
I successfully played games on my Atari Flashback 9 Gold about 3 weeks ago. Today I can interact with the menu, but choosing to start the game yields a black screen for about 5 seconds, then returns to the game in the menu. So it spontaneously broke!!?!? Menus work, but games/emulator broken. The console hw/sw is unmodified, and I've never inserted an SD card. Using the internal button to boot into Android Recovery, I've got in recovery logs "failed to mount /cache (No such file or directory)" Trying to fix... I've tried the factory reset, which fails due to missing mount (see photo "Data wipe failed") I've done the official firmware update from SD card. It performs the update, and with the progress bar at about 80%, it reboots... to the "Do you want to upgrade the console" question. (I assume the update worked?!?). Didn't help... same symptoms, even factory reset continues to fail. What might you suggest I try next? (Thanks in advance)

Same errors are occurring in diagnostic menus, but it works. This is what happened for me. After seeing this video, I'll try using that one HDMI "working" cable on a few different monitors to see if that fixes it.
