Piotr D. Kaczorowski Posted May 29 Share Posted May 29 Hi! Today I received photos from new SAVO User, who installed SAVO XL in an Atari 800XL, connected Sophia 2 instead of the VBXE card. Here you can see how it was installed. To use Sophia 2 in RGB mode rather than DVI, you must first use the config program to set this mode of operation and CSYNC synchronization (not CSYNC TTL). Sophia 2 can output YPbPr Component Video that can pass through the SAVO board. Using a Sega Saturn to 6xRCA cable, you can connect an Atari via component video to your favorite NTSC region TV set. Soon on my eBay auctions, SAVO Component kits specifically designed for the Sophia 2 will be available.
