phaeron
PVD.ROM and PMD.ROM are the same as a combined 4K V:/T: ROM image available as 1450VHND.LER [5EC3EC7D], with the exception of the first two bytes of the T: handler that don't have functional meaning (unused checksum bytes) are unset on the PMD.ROM T: handler. PDD.ROM seems older than previously available PDD ROMs marked as rev. E/F, which would make sense if it's rev. C in the same revision series. Strangely, its startup code disables the PBI disk if there's a disk in the already in the drive at boot (FDC not ready unset). The logic checking the same bit in the "please insert disk" screen is the same, so it can't be a hardware/controller difference; it boots fine in emulation after inserting a disk on that screen.
