Open Source Cartridge Megacart PCB Creation compatibility

Recommended Posts

Hi,
Here I have made PCBs of this card and I would like to know if there is a problem with:
Super space acer (128k)
Pac-man collection (128k)
Mario Bros. (128k)
Boxxle (64k)
Well I use with the 27C2001 pcb, I tested with Princess Quest (256k) and it works fine.
Is there a problem with the GAL20V8 with 128k roms in a 256k eprom? I don't have a 27C1001 in stock yet for test.
Or
Is there a problem with the 4 games mentioned on a basic collecovision?
Will the super game module be offered again in the near future? Or in DIY?

Thanks.

Yes Mario is 64K.

I just tested black-onyx-the-2013 (64K) and zombie-near-2012 (128K) on 27C2001 and it doesn't work.
Are the 64K and 128K ROMs a problem on a 27C2001 with the GAL?
Only Princess-Quest (256K) works.
Or do all others need the super game module.

Tursi :
For SSA, nothing indicates that it is a beta on cvaddict.com. Or for the games tested that the game module is necessary.
Thanks.

It's posted there without my permission. I never authorized any cross-posting of my binaries. But people do what they want.

(Edit: here's my development thread: https://forums.atariage.com/topic/149476-super-space-acer/ )

None of my games require the SGM. Super Space Acer will support the extra audio, but doesn't require it.

The startup bank is on the last 16 KB of the ROM? That's it ?

That's normal for a megacart ROM, yeah.

27C2001 is only a 128K EPROM, so it's a bit strange you would have the 256k ROM working and not the 128K one. Did you mean the other way around? :)
