WillM
Hi All, I inherited what I believe to be a bricked Rapidus. The first clue is the little orange light is fixed on and doesn't flicker or indicate any activity and the second clue is it boots to a red screen. If I remove it entirely, the 800XL works fine. I've checked voltages, swapped cables, shortened cables, double-checked connections, done continuity checks, replaced chip sockets, and double-checked the extsel/GND/MPD connections both directly to chips (as per the instructions) and touch-points on the PCB and no dice. I also tried it in another 800XL with the same results. If it is bricked, where can I get the .jed file to flash the Xilinx 39SF040? I've trawled the web with no joy, so any help is appreciated. Will.
drac030
Here you are rapidus_cpld_120916.jed rapidus_rom_054.bin EDIT: these are the factory files. Once the board is restored to operation, you probably will want to update the control menu and the booter, see my website for these (in my sig).
