CreeB
(this review is proxy of YexxenBlaster.. GO DAN!) I just left Morristown Game Vault. It's in Morristown, NJ, and I heard Billy of Billy's Midway mention it when I called him up after I visited there (he said it had Return of the Jedi.) So I told mom to take me. It's in an old bank, and it has the common games, along with two '70s B&W games: Clowns and Gun Fight (another sample from "Computer Game.") There were some rarer games like Donkey Kong 3 and Gaplus. There's pinball and some newer games like Virtua Fighter 4, Gauntlet: Dark Legacy, and Star Wars Trilogy (upright, unlike the cab at Hersheypark.) Some of the pinballs were modern too (Marvel pinballs, etc.) I played Dig Dug, Gun Fight (surprisingly good at it for a '70s game), Clowns, Rolling Thunder (I wasn't scared of Mabu, even though I literally exited the game as soon as I lost my last life on MAME yesterday), Star Wars (they had an upright and a cockpit), Sinistar, Xenon, Gorgar, Gaplus, Time Pilot, Fix-It Felix Jr, Tron (this game is unforgiving), Asteroids, and Marble Madness (trackballs are HARD.) Also, I like the interactivity they had. There was a TV above The Simpsons showing Simpsons clips, a TV above Frogger showing the Seinfeld "The Frogger" episode, and a TV above Tron showing Tron Legacy. I saw these on Arcade Memories' channel, and I completely forgot those were there. It was a good place. Funspot still tops it though. (And they had a Playboy pinball; I knew there was an old lady on the backglass, but I just realized she looks like Granny from Looney Tunes. HAS HEFNER BEEN DOING GRANNY?!?! WAIT TILL TWEETY FINDS OUT) Edited July 7 by CreeB I'm not the one who visited..
YexxenBlaster
Thanks Cree for posting this for me like you said! (We talk.) I filmed a video of it that I'll hopefully upload onto YT along with my Billy's Midway one. Any good retro arcades near Richmond that carry 1970s games??
