Troubleshooting Audio/Video Issues on Light Sixer

Hey everyone.

 

New member: hope this is the right place to post.

 

i bought a light-sixer known to be problematic and i wanted to tackle the issues myself.

 

Powering on, the console shows a solid red screen and no audio.  Sometimes it’s red thick lines and no audio.  Games don’t appear to be running.

 

Ive disassembled, cleaned and have replaced items purchased in a refresh kit (capacitors, power regulator).  No change.  Before I go and purchase chips, I wanted to try the forum experts in case there’s something else I should try.

 

I should mention I’m very novice with soldering but produce good results.  I haven’t gone over all of the connections as they appear mostly fine.  No deficiencies are visible there, but I’ve seen in some videos, some feel this is a good effort before going further.
