Don't get me wrong; I really am glad that the 7800+ will have an upgraded firmware out-of-the-box, but I also have concerns about future firmware upgrades...especially with a Linux computer.

 

 

I think a devkit will happen if it hasnt already, it would just be really niche, maybe given to the most high profile homebrewers or maybe third parties.

 

I am also excited to pre-order a 7800+ whenever possible and i am still awaiting linux support information at the very least
