Just a heads up - order processing issue on Atari.com

I tried to place an order today on Atari.com for a wireless CX-78 and Bentley Bear, and the transaction never went through on Atari’s side, but it charged my card, twice.

 

I don’t know if this was Atari.com’s error or PayPal, as the PayPal site never redirected back to Atari to process the order.

 

Edit: Looks like it was the Credit Card Company's fault. I used a "CreditOne" Amex, and the authorization showed up twice - but nothing showing as processed on the Atari.com site, or Paypal.com either. But I just called the CC company and they said their system is under maintenance, and credited back the charges immediately. So no harm, no foul.

I recommend Amazon. You’ll end up getting it faster also.

I prefer to order from Atari direct, so that Atari makes more profit. I’m not a fan of Amazon, or most other 3rd party middleman delivery services who gauge the customer and the business.
 

Also - my 2600+ and controllers and games I ordered last time through Atari.com arrived earlier than most, when everyone on here was complaining about Amazon delaying shipments.

 

Plus Amazon doesn’t take PayPal.

Got my order placed later in yesterday from the PC. I think the mobile app got stupid. 
 

Anyway, looking forward to the wireless CX-78 and Bentley Bear’s Crystal Quest!
