Atari 2600 composite mod problem

Hi,

I installed a composite mod from Winmar with partial success.

I have two identical Atari 2600 systems, and both react the same way. These are 4-switch Darth Vader PAL models.

 

In the black and white image, there are disturbances, but it is complete. In the colored image, a black bar runs from the bottom to the top. In this video, at the 10-second mark, you can see what has been done to the motherboard. Could someone tell me how to improve the image quality? The power supply is new and works perfectly with the Junior console.

 

 

 

The problem is shown here. Note that I'm adjusting the potentiometer constantly, which is why the picture is changing. I start with B/W setting turn on, middle of video I turn colors on.
