The next meeting of the Southern California Commodore & Amiga Network is Saturday, Sept. 14, from 2 to 5+ p.m. at Panera Bread Restaurant 19662 Nordhoff Street Northridge, California (818) 407-9400 In discussion we'll talk about the Oct. 12 Rocklin Maker Faire, the Oct. 18-20 Bay Area Maker Faire, the Oct. 25-27 Amiwest Show, and even the Vintage Computer Festival SoCal (Feb. 15-16, 2025). In 8-bit Commodores we'll have the Ultimate 64 with the latest C64 games, like SNK vs CAPCOM (update 2), Mars Patrol, Drip 2, Random PAC, and more. In Amiga, the AmigaOne A1222+ returns; this time we'll be running A500/1200 software through its emulator, E-UAE, and we'll look at classic games and new 2024 games, like Metro Siege. We'll even have a brief look at the A600GS (hey, what's that black screen?!) Feel free to bring your own machines and software to the meeting!
