BigO
I scrolled through this stuff fairly quickly, did I miss a Stunt Cycle in there somewhere? It's one of a very few dedicated units that I'd like to have, just for the nostalgia of the many hours played with a long gone friend. I saw that there's a 2600 version of Stunt Cycle (unreleased, or hack, or something). I was tempted to make a set of handlebars with throttle (paddle controller) to fit on to a 2600 for use with that cartridge to make it kinda like playing that console. Atariboy2600
It’s a miracle that the Atari was still selling the VCS under the model name 2600 Jr a 1986 cost-reduced version but what many don't know is that the 2600 was in market from 1977 and did not discontinuation till 1992 even with systems from NES, SNES, Master System and Genesis.

Atariboy2600
I was 9 when I first played Ms.Pac-Man at the arcades in 1981 and played her on the Atari systems. And even if Bandai Namco wanted to remove her from there list to me she will always be my first female video gaming character.
Atariboy2600
I love Dig-Dug! Played it at age 10 in 1982 arcades and still own the home ports for all three Atari systems 2600, 5200 and 7800.
Atariboy2600
Just unboxing some of my old childhood crap from the before times. Many old junk from Happy Meal toys and what not. Its like a treasure hunt you many never know what shit you could find. Many are needed to have some good old TLC with some cleaning and restoring.

CapitanClassic
Looking at all these old toys reminds me of Silly Putty. That stuff was a amazing at making perfect color transfers of Saturday morning comics onto its surface. (too bad it causes cancer or something) Looks like I was wrong, it is still sold. Maybe the formula has changed, or maybe the formula for the ink used in newspapers changed. Kind of how everyone used to love McDonald's when they used beef tallow, and people still say they are good (using vegetable oil) because they don't remember how great the original recipe was. From 1970 to around 1997, there were versions of Talking View-Masters, which included audio technology with the reels with three major designs with increasing sophistication. Here's one playing one of the Talking Superman Reel. test.mp4

Atariboy2600
In 1976 Mattel released Pulsar, the Ultimate Man of Adventure! Pulsar was a little taller than Six Million Dollar Man and instead of bionic parts, he had pumping organs! GROSS! But as a 70s kid it was cool. 1976 TV ad https://youtu.be/F2Dqoawk6k0

Atariboy2600
As a kid I had a blast with this toy using what ever small figures I used. Had this extra BIG TRAK in storage and just now added stickers on it. 3
